Your Roadmap to an Improved Smile

The Invisalign process to give you a straighter smile is simple, straightforward, and well-defined.

Computer treatment plan

Firstly, Dr Allison Kale will assess your particular dental needs to ensure that the Invisalign process will improve your smile.

Secondly, Dr Kale will take dental impressions, x-rays, and photographs of your teeth. The impressions are scanned, and the scans are used to create a computer driven three-dimensional model, as prescribed by Dr Kale. Special software then simulates the movement of the teeth in stages to meet Dr Kale’s instructions.

Finally, once the computer simulation is approved, plastic aligners are manufactured for each stage of the process and shipped to Signature Dental. Your Invisalign treatment is ready to begin!

Treatment time

Average treatment time with Invisalign is approximately 12 to 14 months, but depends on how complicated your tooth alignment may be. Some treatments can be as short as 16 weeks.

You must wear your aligners for about 20 to 22 hours a day, but they are removable. Once the treatment time is complete, usually you’ll need to wear plastic retainers at night.

Benefits

During this entire process, you will enjoy correcting your teeth without the use of metal braces.

Most people also enjoy better oral hygiene since the retainers are removable and you can brush and floss as normal, which may also assist in making your breath fresher. The process also offers greater food and drink choices than you have with traditional metal braces.
